Wiring what one block made into the one that needs it.

Variables

What one block makes is a variable. Wire it into the next block, or type it straight into a prompt.

A prompt is a formula box: words and a variable, side by side. Type {{ to search for a variable from an earlier block, and press Enter or click one to put it in — for example {{Writer.caption}}.

When a block makes a list — several scenes, several pictures — take one item by its place in square brackets, counted from 0, never 1: {{Scenes.title[0]}} is the first one, {{Scenes.title[last]}} is the last, and {{Scenes.title[all]}} is every one of them, one after another.

You do not have to type a variable in: drag it onto a block, or click it from the list the block’s own pop-up offers. Only what that block can actually reach is ever offered, so wiring one in can never make a loop.
