Run, run for a list, stop, choosing between versions, what it costs, and Run history.
Running and cost
What pressing a button does, and what it costs you before you press it.
Ways to run
- Run all makes every block that is missing or has changed. What is already made is kept.
- Run to here makes only the blocks up to the one you choose, so you can look before the rest runs.
- Run only this block makes just that one block again, from what the blocks before it last made, without running them again.
- Run for a list, in the workflow's top bar, makes a copy of the workflow for each line you paste — ten topics, ten videos — and runs them one after another. The copies are kept together under Batches.
A workflow starts from its trigger: the Manual trigger when you press Run, or a Schedule trigger block, added from the block list, when it should start by itself (see Running by itself).
Afterwards: Run history
Every run is listed in Run history, in the menu, newest first, with when it ran, what it cost and how it ended. Choose one to see its blocks as they ran, each marked finished, failed, stopped or waiting for you; click a block to see what it made. Open in the editor and Run again are there too. A workflow's own runs are one click from its top bar, by the clock beside Help. Where a run kept a copy of the workflow it ran, a workflow changed since is still shown as it was; otherwise the run is shown on the workflow as it is now, and the page says so.
What it costs
Every block shows about what making it will cost, and the whole run adds it up, before you press anything. A block that already has a result shows what making it again would cost, never “free”. The price never says which company sells the model: it is simply the lowest price among the ones connected.
Choosing between versions
A block that generates something can be set to make more than one version at once. With more than one, you choose what happens next: stop so you can pick, carry on with the first, or carry on with every one. A run nobody is watching never stops to ask.
Stopping
Stop ends the run, and nothing further is charged to you in the app. A step already sent to a model may still run to completion there; nothing already made is thrown away.
